Tournament added: JV Volleyball will be filling in for a dropped team at the Hershey tournament this Saturday Sept 28. First game will be around 11am CST. Varsity will still be in Brady on Saturday.
Parents and guardians please contact the school if your child needs to leave during the school day for any reason. Lunch is still fine if you have filled out the paperwork at the beginning of school year.

Today we celebrated our five State FFA Range Judging qualifiers. Good luck Isaac, Brayden, Levi, Saije, and Brooklynn tomorrow and bring home the GOLD!

Homecoming week! The students are excited! Dress up days are listed on each day. This is for junior high and high school students. We want all students in K-12 to dress up Friday for Disco Spirit Day (wear red, black, white to show your school spirit with a little bling). Outfits need to be school appropriate. We will do a celebration Friday for our teams and announce poster winners.
Homecoming is this week and we are encouraging all MCS students to participate in a poster contest. The theme this year is "Red, White, and Disco". Elementary and Junior High will have opportunities in art to make posters, but any other students not in Art can participate. Go see Ms. Dahlberg for a 14"x22" poster board. We play the Ravenna Blue Jays. Posters must be turned into Mrs. Florea by the end of the day Thursday. Please keep posters respectable. Prizes will be awarded during Friday's celebration. Go Mavs!
Health checks that were scheduled for September 27 have been moved to October 3. A letter will be going out next week about the health checks. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Florea.

Homecoming is next week! Here are the dress up days for 2024. Thursday, September 26th, McPherson County will host a community pep rally starting at 7:00 p.m. in the gymnasium. Everyone is invited to attend.
Thursday, September 19th we do have an early dismissal. Junior high can still participate in practice if they would like. They will leave at 1:30 with the High school teams. September 20th is no school with parent teacher conferences taking place in the afternoon.

September 20th is no school, with Parent Teacher conferences held from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Due to uncontrolled circumstances, JH/HS English, Math, and Social Studies teachers will not be available. Please reach out to these teachers to schedule a time for a conference. You may contact the school for more information. Elementary students should have had pink notes in their bags with conference times. If you did not receive the note, please let the school know. Have a great weekend!
