Coach Myers, Coach Samuelson and Coach Dahlberg have been phenomenal additions to our coaching staff and program. Their tireless efforts over the summer and to begin the fall are paying immediate dividends.

Monday JH VB - There will be an "A" and "B" game at Mullen on Sept 9 - for those who are attending. Game is not likely to be streamed. 2pm CST start time.

On a day with multiple course PR's the SVM XC team did have one medal winner today. JH Runner Paige Morash placed 7th.

SVM cross country athletes had an awesome meet Thursday at River's Edge. Sorry I did not make it in time for the high school girls race to get pictures.
Congrats to our Co-Head Volleyball coaches Chelsey Myers and Darci Samuelson for their FIRST career win as Maverick Varsity Head Coaches tonight in the first game of the Triangular vs Hyannis.

JH Sports will always be seen as a developmental program in which the process and focus will never be judged solely on wins and losses. In fact they are relatively irrelevant. However, that doesn't mean we can't celebrate success when and where we can.
We are very lucky to have these two coaches this year leading our large group of junior high students. Coach Martin and Coach Jones have made a tremendous impact in a short time.
Congratulations to these ladies on their first wins as Coaches. We look forward to watching them grow and develop their skills along with our JH Lady Mavericks Volleyball program.

FYI - regarding parking for the Cozad XC meet on Saturday:
Due to a sprinkler/irrigation issue, we will not be allowed to have spectators park on the driving range like we have in the past. Spectators will have to park along Country Club Road (see attached picture - parking highlighted in yellow). The Sheriff's Dept will assist in directing traffic and we'll have a van shuttling spectators as the parking gets further away from the course. Thank you for understanding and sorry for the inconvenience.
