On Thursday, February 13 game times have changed with Mullen due to no JV boys. We will start JV girls at 5:15 CT, with Varsity Girls at 6:00 p.m. and Varsity Boys to follow at approximately 7:30. All times are central times in Tryon. Come cheer on your Mavericks.


The intro to woods class has been busy finishing up this wonderful wooden bench. It will be up for silent auction next Thursday at the basketball games in Tryon. All proceeds will go back to the woods class to build more items.


Congratulations to all of our students that participated in our annual McPherson County Spelling Bee. Our overall winner was Alexander Anderson and Runner-Up was Cooper Hill. Alex will represent MCS in the State Spelling Bee in Omaha on March 15. Good luck!

On Monday, January 27, Officer Flick from the Nebraska State Patrol presented to our 7-12 students and staff. His focus was digital citizenship, bullying, and how to be safe using technology. Thank you Officer Flick for the helpful information.
