The McPherson County One-Act Team has been busy preparing for our competition season.
In English class, the freshman class just finished their Holocaust presentations. They read the book The Boy in the Striped Pajamas and spent time studying and learning about Auschwitz and the hardships the Jewish people faced there.

Wow, the end of the quarter is here! Many things going on this week with Parents Nights on Tuesday and Thursday. Districts XC and Conference volleyball this week. Hope to see everyone out to support our student athletes.

The McPherson County 7th and 8th grade classes are selling Scentsy again for their fundraiser. Check out the flyer to order online, or contact the school to request a student to come and visit with you about ordering.
FYI - Next Thursday Oct 17th will be Parents Night for Football in Tryon at the conclusion of the game vs. Pleasanton in order to allow for volleyball parents to make it back from Conference games in Merna.
FFA members competing in the Farm & Agribusiness Management CDE contest. They received District Runner up and qualified to compete at the NE State FFA Convention next spring!
Food science students evaluated foods using sensory evaluation. They learned concepts by measuring foods using imperial measurements and compare accuracy to the metric system.
The FFA chapter held their monthly meeting.
FFA members have been putting in time before school and in the evenings for contest practice. Thank you to the community members and parents who have helped us so far.
