MCS JH and HS students along with hs teachers helped our community today by sprucing up the area. Flower beds cleaned, trees trimmed, branches picked up, lawns raked, and trashed picked up! Thank you Ms. Melvin for organizing this event and to the county workers for your help and equipment. Your hard work is greatly appreciated by everyone in this community!










All Jr & Sr high students need to wear professional dress for the concert on Thursday. Due to the concert time change, please be at the school by 6:50 pm for warm-ups.
Due to the track meet being moved to Thursday, MCS spring concert will be backed up to 7:00 p.m start on Thursday April 25, 2024.
NHS members and inductees dress in professional clothing and be at the school by 5:50 pm tomorrow, Tuesday, April 23. Dont forget to bring a dessert for the reception.
Due to the inclement weather forecasted for Friday, the MNAC JH and HS Track Meet will be moved to Thursday, April 25, 2024 starting at 9:00 a.m. The art show will be set up in the gym, but judging will not take place until Friday.
A reminder to join us Tuesday, April 23, 2024 for NHS inductions at 6:00p.m. and Fine Arts night at 6:45p.m. A dessert reception will be at 6:35. We ask if all families could bring a dessert by 6:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend these events. Thank you!


MCS elementary students and families are welcomed to join a Title I Family event to follow the spring concert on Thursday, April 25, 2024 in the Commons area of the high school. We hope all K-6 MCS Families can make it!

We have a lot packed in the last few weeks of school. We hope you can make it out to support all of our students and athletes.

Reminder that tomorrow is Earth Day and Community Clean Up! Students need to be dressed in outdoor work appropriate clothing, and make sure to bring gloves + rakes.
Don't forget to come to the Prom Grand March at 7:30 tonight at MCS gymnasium.
Along with the improvements going on at the school, some of the woods2 students are busy building new cabinets to house the trophies & plaques that had to come down because of the remodeling.

McPherson County FFA member, Ashton Lambert, applied to present his living to serve project. He was a key leader in developing this community service project in our area. Great work! Definitely a project to be proud of!



FFA members, Brooklynn Fisher and Saije Phelps, applied and was accepted to participate in the Ag Issues Academy during the State FFA Convention. This is an opportunity to learn about policy and ag advocacy. They also were able to go to the capitol and participate in a mock trial with the state's senators. To learn more about this event and their experience visit with our members.

FFA members helped with the living to serve mercy meal community service project. They packaged meals for those in need through Orphan Grain Train.










During the NE State FFA Convention there are opportunities to provide community service. Some of our members helped with the Lincoln Food Bank. They were able to network with the NE Cornhusker Football Team while also helping those in need.
