Come join us at McPherson County schools on Tuesday, April 23 to celebrate our students. We will start with National Honor Society inductions at 6:00 p.m. followed by a dessert reception. Then settle in for our Fine Arts Night and recognize all of our students' talents at 6:45. All families need to bring a dessert.


This week we celebrate Music and Journalism judges! Thank you for everything you do! Good luck to our MCS students at District Music today!

High school choir students will be competing at District Contest tomorrow. We will leave the school at noon. We compete at 2:48 as a group and then from 4:00 to 4:20 for solos and duet. There are no awards ceremonies so we will leave as soon as we are finished. North Platte students will be dropped off at the park. McPherson students will be dropped off at the school.
Remember to get your forms into the office by Wednesday. You and your date will need dance forms and after prom forms. You need to get two forms signed to have a good time! Here is the order of events for prom. Can't wait to see everyone!

Put on your thinking hats, tie your running shoes, polish the golf clubs, and deck out in fancy duds! We have a busy week at MCS!

Due to the construction project, we will have the last day of school for students be on May 7, 2024, 3:30 p.m.

Due to some scheduling changes and conflicts, the Field Day that was scheduled to be held Tuesday the 7th - will now be moved to Monday May 6th! Wanted to inform parents as soon as possible of this change. Thank you!

The junior high students enjoyed the fresh air and sunshine while writing nature poems in English class today.

Congratulations to the McPherson County Students that have been recognized by the NSAA for Multi-Activity Student Awards. Students on the list are eligible to apply for a $1,000 scholarship. Way to represent!

Good morning! I've had some reach out asking about the eclipse viewing. We will not be taking time to view the eclipse as a school. Our probability of seeing the eclipse was low and we did not purchase the glasses necessary for viewing.
