Our first meet is at Elm Creek High School on Saturday, February 22nd. The first round starts at 7:45. We will leave the school at 5:15 a.m. Please bring your binders, professional dress, and a positive attitude. You will also need money or sack lunches for the day. There will be concessions at the school for you to purchase food.
March Speech Schedule:
On March 8th, we will compete in the Wildcat Speech Meet at Maxwell High School. We will leave the school at 6:30 am. The first round starts at 8:00. Due to the weather, the girls D1-11 sub district will play first round on Wednesday, February 19. Game 1 of South Platte and Sutherland will start at 5:30 p.m. and Sandhills Valley vs. Brady will start at approximately 7:00p.m. The final will be played on Thursday. Go Mavs!

On Monday, February 13, McPherson County had the pleasure to host nine MNAC schools band programs. They started the day at 9:30 as individuals and by 5:30 had formed an amazing team. They were under the direction of Brett Bradley from North Platte.
Sophomores are reading their Maze Runner books for English class this week.
Eligible juniors and seniors we will still plan on attending inter high day. We will leave at 7:30 and will return by 3pm.
Due to overnight frigid temperatures and roadways still partially covered, McPherson County Schools will have a 10:00 late start, Thursday, February 13. Bus will run accordingly.

On Thursday, February 13 game times have changed with Mullen due to no JV boys. We will start JV girls at 5:15 CT, with Varsity Girls at 6:00 p.m. and Varsity Boys to follow at approximately 7:30. All times are central times in Tryon. Come cheer on your Mavericks.
The intro to woods class has been busy finishing up this wonderful wooden bench. It will be up for silent auction next Thursday at the basketball games in Tryon. All proceeds will go back to the woods class to build more items.
