First day of school is always exciting! Here are some snapshots of the day!

Attention all families, please bring your own plates and utensils for lunch. Unfortunately, the school cannot provide this to our families. Plates and utensils may be left in your locker.

Happy First Day of School! It has been a great day. This is just a reminder that we need student paperwork completed and turned into the school by Wednesday. If you have misplaced your paperwork, please contact the school and we will send forms home with your student(s). If you have any questions, please contact the school.

Our Title I meeting tonight was very informative. If you would like information please contact Mrs. Bay at the school.

I want to thank everyone that helped tonight with our back to school bbq! Thank you teachers that helped get things ready, serve, clean up, and present. Thank you Mr. V and Josh Streiff for grilling. Mrs. Vanderheiden for serving. Kathy Fisher for notarizing, Bethany for keeping all the paperwork in order. Thank you to all of our families that attended. I think it was a great success! Pictures will be posted later.

Attention MCS Junior High Fall Sports families. Due to limited space on the Stapleton's North Platte route bus, MCS students will not be able to ride back to North Platte after practices. Parents can either pick up students at Stapleton at 3:35 p.m. or in Tryon at 4:15 p.m. McPherson County school does not have enough drivers to take students back to North Platte. If the situation changes, families will be notified. If you know anyone that is interested in being an activity driver, please contact the school for more information.

Sending out a birthday shout out! Happy Birthday Lexi! We hope you have a stupendous day!

Updated August Calendar with a few edits. Thanks!

Just a reminder that we will be having a back to school BBQ on Thursday, August 8th, starting at 5:30 p.m. All families are welcomed to come, eat, and visit with your teacher. Also, bring back all of your paperwork and win prizes! Title I elementary meeting at 6:30 p.m. We hope to see everyone!

Baseline testing will be completed next week for high school fall athletes. See flyer for information on days, times, and location. 6-8 and high school non fall athletes will be completed the first week of school.

Attention Juniors & Seniors:
Anyone that would like to take dual credit college classes that isn't already registered needs to stop in and visit with Mrs. Connell next week to finish your enrollment. Mrs. Connell will be available August 6th-9th from 7:30am-4pm at the school. Please email Mrs. Connell at rconnell@mcstryon.org to set up your appointment to finish getting registered for college classes.

Hello! I am still looking for pictures of McPherson County High school before the addition of the commons area and classrooms. If anyone has some, please contact Mrs. Florea at the school, 308-587-2262. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

SVM high school athlete and families, if your child/children need to carpool to and from North Platte have them check the Group me threads. It has been a discussion on there. Or if you have further questions, you may contact Mr. Johnson, AD at Stapleton Schools, 308-636-2252.
