Due to high likelihood of rain tomorrow morning we will not have FB camp. High School and Junior High conditioning starts Monday at 7 am until 8 am. See ya there.
Coach Connell
Mavericks Football.
As of right now, we are good to go for camp tomorrow for grades 7-12. We will have camp tomorrow and Thursday from 8-11 am. Do not forget, if you have not turned in a signed Covid Waiver you will have to turn one in prior to participating in camp. Also if you fall into the group that should be self-quarantining, you must have a negative Covid test to participate. Finally, you will need to bring your own water bottle. We will have fill stations to fill them up.
This is still an opportunity to get better and give us a jump start on our transition to 8-man. I encourage anyone that can make it to do so.
See you tomorrow,
Go Mavs!!!
Coach Connell
Maverick Friends & Family,
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Sandhills Valley Football Camp will be postponed to later dates. Grades 7-12 will be held on Wednesday and Thursday (July 29th - July 30th from 8 AM to 11 AM) and grades 3-6 will be announced at a later time.
If you have questions regarding this, please feel free to email the Athletic Director (Jason Wehnes) at jason.wehnes@stapletonschools.org.

FB camp starts tomorrow at 8am for 7-12 and 11:30-1 for 3-6. This is a free opportunity to get better. All you need to bring is cleats and a water bottle. If you have not turned in a Covid Form, this will need to happen prior to participation.
See you tomorrow.
Go Mavs!!!
Football Players! (Grades 3-12)
Take a look at the opportunity below to better yourself before the season.

Sandhills Valley Student-Athletes!
A friendly reminder that physicals are required for ALL incoming 7th grade and 9th grade students and need to be turned into the office of each respective school.
Although grades 8 and 10-12 are not required to have completed physicals for this year, it is highly encouraged to complete if possible.
The CSC camp is now allowing payment. Please finish this when you get a chance. Also, please contact me to let me know if you are planning on attending or not.
Go Mavs!!!

7-12 Maverick Parents/Guardians!
Due to the resurgence of Covid-19 in certain states and the ease of Nebraska Directed Health Measures, the respective school districts of Sandhills Valley are requesting a new release form from ALL student-athletes attending any summer activities (one per family).
Hard copies will be available for pickup tomorrow (Friday, June 26th, 2020) at the school offices of both Stapleton and McPherson County.
Please refer any questions to the Athletic Director at jason.wehnes@stapletonschools.org.

High School Mavericks:
Tim Karn is making himself available to sponsor open-gym three times a week. This will take place on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday following evening weights and conditioning sessions (about 8:15 pm) at Stapleton. This is a great opportunity to shake the rust off and improve upon your skills!
Are you keeping up with the work of your competitors?
- Mr. Wehnes
McPherson County High School Students! June 1st is the kick-off to summer weights! Coaches will be available on an "on call" basis for you to schedule and access the weight room. Tryon coaches should be communicating the best way in which to reach them. Remember that games, matches, and events are won in the weight room during June, July and August! Go Mavericks!
There was an error in the posted start times for the games this evening against Arthur. JV will begin at 6PM followed by boys varsity at 7PM. Please help spread the word! #GoMavs
