Football Athletes!!! Next week, we will max out on the four core lifts starting at 6:30 AM. This will be all week long until we get everyone tested. Starting Tuesday, we will begin conditioning at 7:00 AM and be done no later than 7:45. Please bring both gym shoes and cleats to participate. All athletes need to have their physicals turned into their respective offices ASAP. Also be sure to get your NSAA consent forms turned in as well. These forms are in the offices or can be found online. Any questions, contact Coach Connell at 308-530-2562. Go Mavs!!!
All activities next week will be in Stapleton and vans will leave Tryon at 6:00AM.

12PM - Any athlete not playing a fall sport.
If you can't make your designated time please show up by Noon so that we can get your test completed.

Vans leave Tryon at 4:30 and Stapleton at 5 for the last two days of FB camp at Thedford!!!
We had a great turnout for the first day of our joint camp with Sandhills-Thedford. We want to say a special "Thank You" to Kimber's, The Spur, Harsh Mercantile, and Genetic Opportunity Angus Bill Sale for sponsoring the camp and providing T-Shirts for all of the boys.
SVM Football Players: Van will leave Tryon at 5 for camp today. Please let me know if you are riding it. Will meet at Stapleton in the locker room at 5:30 to check out equipment.
Attention SVM Football players. Our joint camp with Sandhills-Thedford will begin Tuesday, July 11th at 6 pm in Stapleton. It will last 2 hours and will continue on the 12th in Stapleton and the 18&19 in Thedford. There will be rides available from Tryon the first week and both Tryon and Stapleton the second week.
All interested HS and JH athletes are encouraged to attend. JH will be allowed to participate in every drill, but will not be allowed to do the live scrimmages.

This is a reminder that the Sports Banquet will be held next Thursday at Stapleton. We will start serving food at 6:15 and plan on starting the awards portion at 7:00. We ask for each class to help provide the following items for the banquet:
Freshman - Main Dish
Sophomores - Main Dish
Juniors - Salad/Sides
Seniors - Dessert

Aubree and Saije both came up short tonight. They were both hard fought battles. We are so proud of all of our Lady Maverick wrestlers.
Aubree and Saije will continue tonight at 6:30. Mariah ended her season this afternoon with a hard fought battle.
Day two of state wrestling will start for our girls at noon! Put in the work Lady Mavs!
Saije and Mariah got pins. Aubree lost by a point. Keep working hard Lady Mavericks!
