Wow! How much weight can popsicle sticks hold? Mr. Simmons 5-8 grade wood classes built bridges that had to be 14 inches long with no more than 200 popsicle sticks and wood glue.
The winners from each division were:
5th grade: Devanee Connell and Nevaeh White at 110 pounds.
6th: Levi Goosey, Kamilla Johnston, and Noah Gardner at 165 pounds.
7th: Joseph Brannan and Isaac Goosey at 150 pounds.
8th: Braden Powell and Kaden Blake at 300 pounds!!
Way to go to all participants!





The school board meeting tomorrow night has been changed to 6:00pm.

The 3rd-8th grade students competed in the McPherson County Spelling Bee today. All students did a great job, and congratulations to William Anderson who qualified for the Omaha World-Herald Midwest Spelling Bee!




Due to weather conditions, McPherson County Schools will be closed today, Tuesday Feb 25th.

Friday Feb 28th McPherson County Schools 5th 6th 7th and 8th grade will be having a popsicle stick bridge competition. This will be held in the gym the last two periods of the day. All of the students have been working hard on there bridges. 12 bridges total


The 6th grade spent some time this afternoon learning Spanish! Jency Starr taught parts of the body to the class using a presentation, memory game, and life-size paper model to label.




Jr High went on a career tour today to Troyers, Hiebner's, Cash-Wa, Ag Valley COOP, Farm Credit Services of America, & Shrake Autobody, Thank You




FYI......The Steakhouse will be closed for student lunches Monday, Feb. 24th. Please make sure your child brings a lunch that day.

McPherson County Schools will have a 10:00 start this morning, February 20th. Bus will run accordingly.
