The McPherson County JH had the privilege to travel to Red Cloud and visit the Willa Cather Center. They also went on a tour of Willa Cather's Childhood Home, J.L Miner House, the Burlington Depot, Grace Episcopal Church, St. Juliana Falconieri Catholic Church, and the Red Cloud Opera House.
The whole experience was unique, educational, and just plain fun. The staff at the Willa Cather Center were very professional, accommodating, and knowledgeable. Lastly, our students were so well behaved. The ladies running The Willa Cather said they were the best students they have had and tried to keep them all, lol.

Meet our new secretary! Ms. Bethany Keller. She is taking the spot of Shelly Apperson, who left us last week for a new job opportunity. Stop in and say "Hi" to Bethany!

Until we meet again Mrs. Apperson. Friday, November 15th was Mrs. Apperson's last day at McPherson County School. She has a wonderful job opportunity to work at MPCC in Broken Bow and do some side work with her husband at the radio station. We wish you the best of luck Shelly!
