FFA Chapter Officer team attended the Farm Bureau Connecting Chapters training. We learned how to improve our skills for reading a book in the elementary classroom. The officer team worked together to prepare and practice teaching a lesson. We discussed ways to be advocates for agriculture, as well as learn from other officer teams.

High School Choir students, those in grades 9-12, will be participating in the MNAC Choir Clinic on October 30th. Parents and community members are invited to attend the culminating performance at 5:15 p.m. at the school in Dunning.
The time and date for our annual Veteran's Day Program have been set!
We would like to invite our veterans and all community members to join us on November 10, 2023, at 10 a.m. in the high school gymnasium. We will have a dessert reception following the program.

Just a reminder health screening paperwork needs to be turned into the office on October 13th to opt out of any part of the screenings. This is for grades K-4, 7, and 10.

Please join in on the fun on Tuesday, October 17th for the Little Maverick's Book Exchange during the last SVM volleyball game in Tryon. If you bring a book from home to the game you can exchange it for a new/different book. There will be free admission to the game if you bring a book to the exchange.
