This week has been a buzz with a Murder Mystery going on at the high school. Who done it? Well the Staff were the first to figure it out with the Seniors coming in a close second! It was a lot of fun and stay tuned for an elementary fun day coming up next month!










There will be no one-act practice tonight. Have a fun and safe Halloween. Make sure to get all rested to play, cheer, watch, or support the boys tomorrow at Sandy Creek. Go Mavericks!

Monday will be MNAC vocal clinic in Arnold. There will be a concert for the public at 5:30 central time.

*Students need to be at the school by 12:00 pm.

Nov 23rd: One-Act community performance at the Old Depot Vineyard Brady, NE

Due to the distance to Sandy Creek, McPherson County Schools will be having a 2:30 p.m. dismissal on Friday, November 1st, for our fans to have time to travel. Class times have been adjusted so students will have all classes. Lunch will start at 11:33a. Bus will run accordingly.

FFA members began their trip to National FFA Convention with a tour at Hornady Manufacturing.







Wednesday select students were invited to the MNAC Art Workshop hosted in Mullen! Students got to decide two of the three classes. From Clay trivets/spoon rests to Neorographics to Book folding, it resulted in a full day of art. Each student got to learn some new artistic/craft process, some even went home with a new interest in said projects!

McPherson County Freshmen are selling Krispy Kreme doughnuts and coffee! Contact the school if you would like a student to come see you or use the QR code. Orders and payments are due by November 8th.


McPherson County schools has made the decision to have a late start (9:58 a.m.) Friday, October 25. This will allow our Maverick fans to go and support the football program on Thursday, Oct 24, in Pleasanton. Bus will run accordingly Friday morning, leave Cody Park by 9:00 a.m.


The Junior High Scentsy Fundraiser has been extended. Orders are now due by October 28th. Thank you for your support.
