Here is a list of activities this week for Homecoming and the Carnival games. It should be a great time for everyone! There is still time to add a carnival game. Contact Mrs. Florea by Wednesday, September 3rd at 308-587-2262. Dance forms need to be turned in by Wednesday as well!

It is a short week, but a very busy week. Hope to see everyone out to support our student athletes this week. Also, stop by the carnival on Friday. It should be fun!

McPherson County FFA will have their peaches at the farmers market tomorrow at Harvest Christian Fellowship 🍑

Celebrated the Huskers first win this season by giving away some NE cups that I collected the last time I was in Lincoln.

Things are definitely starting to ramp up around here! September will be filled with events - starting off strong with homecoming week!

Please join us on Friday, September 5 in Tryon for the first ever Homecoming Carnival! The carnival will run from 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. Junior High and High school classes will have games. Sandhills State Bank will be providing hamburgers and hotdogs during the carnival. Any businesses that would like to set up a booth with a game, please contact Mrs. Florea at 587-2262 by Tuesday, September 2.
Come enjoy the afternoon before the football game at 7:00 p.m.

The 2025 theater kick-off party was a success! It was filled with yummy food, pool time, crazy games, stickers, and lots of laughs. We are looking forward to a fun and productive season.

I would love to have area Veterans and/or their families share their service-related memorabilia on Veterans Day. We would love to display and share these items as long as they are not weapons (we have to follow the rules).
If you would be willing to share, please contact Mrs. Anderson at randerson@mcstryon.org and then bring your items either on November 10th from 2-4 pm or on November 11th from 7:30 to 9:30 am. All items will be returned directly following the Veterans Day Program.

We are starting to get going in full force! Good luck to all of our students and athletes this week with your competitions and testing. Remember to stay well rested, eat well, and hydrated!

Due to illness, tonight’s one-act pool party has been rescheduled to next Monday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Our school adventure has begun! We started off the year reading, "Letters from Felix: A Little Rabbit on a World Tour". We learned about different symbols that represent countries, explored the differences of facts and opinions, and described different types of transportation.
