This week wraps up our first Semester! Don't forget to come listen to all of the songs performed by our K-12 choirs. Country Christmas will end Tuesday.

The MCIC will be serving students and staff a meal on December 20th at 11:00 a.m.


Join us Monday, December 16th for our K-12 Christmas Concert. After the concert, walk through the Country Christmas on our football field.

Friday afternoon the jh/hs classses and staff will be decorating their spots for the Country Christmas. The high doesn’t look very high. Please dress accordingly! Students need to be prepared.


Just a reminder that junior high will still have basketball practice tomorrow, Wednesday December 11. They will have a ride to and from Stapleton.


Just a reminder to get your booth's registered with Mr. Connell! Decorating may start Friday, December 13th. Safety is a priority, so please check that all of your items are safe to use and there are no tripping hazards.


Another full week of activities. Please remember Wednesday noon dismissal. Junior High and High school will not have a lunch break, so if they need a snack for the ride home they may bring one. Decorating will take place on Friday afternoon for the Country Christmas.


Remember new drop-off and pick-up starting tomorrow, Monday, December 9th! It is the parking lot off of 16th and Sycamore street. East of the girls' softball fields.


Don't forget Monday we will have a new drop off and pick up location off of 16th street and Sycamore. The east parking lot of the Dowhower Girls Softball complex.


Middle school agriculture education students learned that plants provide aesthetic benefits to humans. They learned concepts by constructing a floral arrangement to enhance an indoor area. This lab allow students to connect several aspects in design. We may have some future florists.










Good morning! I am sending out this message to inform our parents that due to construction at Cody Pool, we will be changing our drop-off and pick-up location starting Monday, December 9th. This is for the safety of our families, students, and construction workers. The new location will be across the highway from the pool parking lot, over by the Dowhower Girl's Softball Complex, east parking lot off of 16th and Sycamore. It is the parking lot with the batting cage building. If you have any questions, please contact the school. Drop-off and pick-up times have not changed. The bus will be pulling out of this parking lot by 7:00 a.m. and dropping off by 4:10 p.m.

I am delighted to express my admiration for this group of young individuals. Their unwavering dedication throughout the year has culminated in exceptional accomplishments. We are the District Play Production Class D2 Runners Up! We also received seven acting awards. What a great conclusion to our year 🎉 McPherson County Schools


The MCS Class of 2027 is inviting any interested groups, organizations, or businesses to help us celebrate the holiday season by decorating a plot for the first annual Country Christmas at McPherson County Schools. Public viewing of the decorations will by on Dec 15-17 in the evenings. Fun activities are planned for those evenings as well. Last Tuesday the VFW awarded students prizes for their submissions in the Voice of Democracy and Patriot Pen. Winners of VOD, William Anderson first, Saije Phelps second, and Ashley Popham third.
