On Monday, January 27, Officer Flick from the Nebraska State Patrol presented to our 7-12 students and staff. His focus was digital citizenship, bullying, and how to be safe using technology. Thank you Officer Flick for the helpful information.

Through March 15th, McPherson County School District will be accepting Option Enrollment applications for new students!
Join us for the Annual MCS Spelling Bee next Wednesday! Written portion will take place in the morning, but at 1:30pm there will be a verbal competition in the High School Gymnasium. Good luck everyone!

The McPherson County Speech Team is preparing for speech competitions this week. Their first competition will be held at Elm Creek High School on February 22nd, starting at 8:15 AM.
The freshman class has been busy presenting their demonstration speeches this week.
The gym was rocking last night! Cheering section was on point and the boy's basketball team did their thing! Updated brackets are out. Your Mavs will play Sandhills-Thedford at North Platte Community College at 7:30 p.m. Your Lady Mavericks will play South Loup in Arnold, Friday, January 31 @ approximately 6:30p.m. Keep showing your support!

Kindergarten and first grade retelling stories through play. This was the story of "The Three Little Pigs."
Over Christmas student’s at McPherson Elementary participated in a 12 days of Christmas reading challenge. These students are the ones that completed the challenge. Each student was entered into a drawing for a LED reading chair. Bryson Phelps was the winner of the drawing.
