Good afternoon everyone!!!!
All 9-11 grade students that signed up for our retreat From Stapleton and McPherson Co Schools:
We are leaving Stapleton at 1PM on Wednesday (the 29th). Mr Paben is going to drive us by bus to Lake Maloney and get us there safely to set up camp by 1:45!!! Remember... we are CAMPING in NE!!! Please plan accordingly! We have almost 30 of us, we can shre tents, etc. but survival will kick in if you don't bring what you need!! Of course boys and girls will be separated! I suggest tagging a friend or two if you want to plan sharing of shelter! We currently have 1 chaperone per 2 students. We cant wait to lead you and help you as we move into this experience! I suggest good shoes for camping as you never know what lyes before you! It's always easier to take layers off for weather than to find layers to put on so bring appropriate clothing for all weather! Keep in mind, It's just for 1 night! You don't need money... you don't need food (unless you choose to bring your own snacks)! I suggest bringing a water bottle... Don't forget your pillow! 😬 We will return to Stapleton School by 4PM on May 30th. Please have your rides waiting for you! I'm sure you will want a shower by then! 😁
Most of you keep asking "what" are we doing!?!?!? Prepare for camping. Everything else will be addition to with great leadership and unity activities provided by our coaching staff! We are ready for some fun in the sun (bring sunscreen)!
All chaperones (you know who you are) are available to answer any other questions you may have!
Wednesday is just around the corner! Ready??????? Set....... Go, Mavericks! ⛺️ 🔥
