Now that we have been able to start school, there have been some questions regarding the COVID-19 Reopening Plan when we are in Orange, I apologize for any confusion. The list of actions (a menu of sorts) under each color are steps/procedures we may have to put in place as the prevalence of COVID-19 rises and subsides. As of now McPherson County Schools is planning on students coming to school Mondays through Fridays. If circumstances arise that we need to move toward remote learning, or worse close school for a period of time, we will provide notification as soon as possible.
There have been many schools who have already been affected by this pandemic and had little to no time prior to having to contact their families and staff. Again, McPherson County Schools will do its best to keep its families informed if/when additional measures are needed.
